LETTER FROM OUR CBO TO THE TRADE.

In a letter to the trade, Fabio Maria Lazzerini, Chief Business Officer for Alitalia, shared an overview of the Company’s year to date performance. The revenue growth trend recorded in the first half of the year continues in the 3rd quarter as passenger revenues are projected to increase +7.1% compared to the previous year. The growth trend is extended to all networks and is driven by a +1% increase in load factor (boosted by 4%-6% increase in premium cabin load factors) combined with a +8.5% in yield. The positive performance indicators are a result of an improved revenue management strategy and a reorganization of our Global Sales focused on Corporate and Business Travel and Leisure Travel. Extremely positive results were recorded also by our Cargo Division, +7.7% compared to last year and Ancillary Revenue Division showing +22% increase. Full CBO letter
